If a vegan avoid a wood finish of beeswax?

My family and I have been vegetarian for seven years. I want to buy a toy kitchen timber for one of my children and found only the beautiful cherry wood set that I like has beeswax in the goal. I found a play kitchen is similar to pine unfinished, but not nearly as nice as the cherry. Otherwise do not use beeswax or other animal products are avoided.

What's wrong? Are the bees. Insects. They do not care!
